OUR WARRANTY

This limited warranty includes perforation (metal rust-through) due to corrosion in normal use. Replacement sheet metal products, which prove to be defective due to perforation (inside-out rust-through only) will be repaired or replaced at the option of FCA US LLC. If the vehicle is eight (8) model years old or more, FCA US LLC may replace the defective part with a comparable salvage part.

This warranty is not transferable to a subsequent owner of the vehicle. FCA US LLC warrants, to the original purchaser only, Mopar®Replacement Sheet Metal products, including plastic bumper covers and grilles, against defects in material or workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which the part is installed.

WHAT'S NOT COVERED

This warranty does not cover corrosion due to fire, accident, vehicle abuse, owner negligence or vehicle alteration; corrosion caused by sand, hail, airborne fallout, chemicals, salt, road hazards or stone damage; or surface paint deterioration or corrosion (other than inside-out perforation).

Before an Accident Occurs:

Download the Accident Report Form. We recommend keeping it in your glovebox to ensure it’s on hand in case you need it.

If you have a smartphone, you can download the Mopar® Owner's Companion App from your iOS or Android device. The app will assist you in filling out the necessary information so it will be a fast and smooth process to contact a collision assistance repair facility in the area. The app also has an "Accident Assistant" feature that will locate a certified Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, Ram, FIAT® or Alfa Romeo repair facility near you, and a "Make an Appointment" feature, which lets you contact the facility directly.

Choose your own repair facility. It's your right to choose where you want your vehicle repaired. Knowing that your vehicle will be repaired by trained technicians, with the right repair documentation, the right equipment, materials, and the use of the OEM parts necessary to bring your vehicle back to pre-accident condition will give you peace of mind when the need arises. That’s why we recommend using a certified Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, Ram, FIAT® or Alfa Romeo collision assistance repair facility.

Know your rights. Each owner has certain rights with regard to accident repair. Among these may be the "right to approve what kind of parts are used on the vehicle" and to be informed of "what kind of parts are going to be used before repair begins." And, don't forget to get an estimate for your repairs. You need to be certain of what you and your insurance company are paying for. Knowing the difference between different grades of parts and demanding the use of authentic Mopar® Collision Repair Parts can help your vehicle retain its value, ensure your future safety and protect your warranty coverage. If a tow truck does not arrive in the first few minutes, call for a tow. Our Roadside Assistance team is here for you 24/7 at 1-800-521-2779. Although accident towing is not covered by your warranty, our Customer Care team understands the needs of your vehicle. Although the cost of the tow is your responsibility, you can still control the destination of your vehicle, and most insurance companies reimburse that expense.

 

ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE

Life is full of surprises. Some are good, while others can be a little flat - like your tire after a nail finds its way into it, or the dent in your fender from that pole that came out of nowhere. At Mopar®, we understand. That's why if you're in need of Roadside Assistance, you can call one of the following numbers for help. Our customer service teams are here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

So we can best serve you when you call, please have the following information available:

  • Name of vehicle owner
  • Vehicle identification number (VIN)
  • Type of vehicle
  • License plate number
  • Mileage (odometer reading)
  • Where you are located (city, cross streets, landmarks, etc.)
  • Nature of the problem (brief description)

What to Expect:

The towing service will transport your vehicle to the Service Department of the closest Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, Ram, FIAT® or Alfa Romeo dealership. Please keep in mind, if you choose to go to another dealership, additional charges will apply if the added distance exceeds 10 miles.
